Deleting sources and citations

You can use the 'Citations' tab in the 'Edit Individual' window to delete a citation for the person, or you can double-click one of the facts to delete a citation for that fact.

To delete a source or citation for an individual, click the 'Citations' tab at the top of the window. You can then select the citation you want to delete, and click 'Remove Citation' at the bottom of the window.

To delete a source or citation for a fact, double-click the tick in the 'Sources' column for that fact. You can then select the citation you want to delete, and click 'Remove Citation' at the bottom of the window.

You can also delete sources using the Source List. Click the 'Lists' icon in the toolbar at the top, then click 'Sources' on the left hand side to access the Source List for the database. Double-click on the source to bring up the 'Edit Source' window, then click the 'Delete' button in the bottom-left hand side of the window to delete the source.
